Woman Steps in after Seeing a Homeless Man Begging for Help for his Dog Outside Walmart (SEE VIDEO)

A cardboard sign outside a Walmart scrawled a plea more powerful than any advertisement.

It wasn’t for a hot meal or a spare dollar. It was a desperate cry for a friend: “Dog in pound, need help.”

Wilma Price stopped in her tracks. The man holding the sign, Patrick, radiated a quiet despair.

Yet, his eyes held a fierce determination – not for his own comfort, but for his best friend.

Trapped in the pound, Franklin, Patrick’s canine companion, awaited a rescue that hinged on $120, a seemingly insurmountable sum for someone living on the streets.

Price later recalled that Patrick seemed like a gentle person who was having a difficult time.

She said that his eyes had the same sad expression she imagined his dog would have had.

The cost of bringing Patrick and Franklin back together was about to teach a lesson about the enduring love that can overcome even the most challenging circumstances.
